Terms of use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms apply when you use drawico.com: the icon catalogue, the makers and tools, the Drawico app, accounts and the developer API. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
Drawico is free. There is no paywall, no forced sign-up and no watermark on downloads. We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause the site for maintenance. We try to keep it running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Icons and their licences
Every icon on Drawico comes from an open-licence set, and each set keeps its own licence: MIT, Apache 2.0, ISC, CC0, CC BY 4.0 and similar. The licence of each set is shown on its pages and listed on the licence page. When you use an icon you accept that licence; for example, CC BY icons need credit to their author.
Drawico Icons, the set drawn by Drawico, and the 3D elements, 3D objects and animations of the design maker, also made by Drawico, are released under the MIT licence. Changing an icon's colour, size or stroke in our editor does not change its licence.
Some icons show trademarks or logos of other companies. A licence for the drawing does not give you any right to the trademark, and it does not mean the owner endorses you.
Your designs
What you make with Drawico is yours: logos, documents, designs, pictures and videos. You may use it for personal and commercial work, including as a business logo. The fonts in the makers are under the SIL Open Font License, which allows commercial work. Icons inside your design keep their own licences. The emoji, illustrations and ready music are free to use in your work, also commercially; their licences are on the licence page.
Because icons and templates are open and shared, other people may make designs that look similar to yours. We cannot give you exclusive rights to an icon, template or font, so before you register a logo as a trademark, check it with a professional.
You are responsible for the text, pictures and other material you add to a design. Add only material you have the right to use.
Accounts
An account is optional. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create one. Give a real email address, keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time on the account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, trademarks and privacy;
- upload or share hateful, violent, sexual, deceptive or otherwise harmful content, or malware;
- use Drawico to make logos or documents that impersonate other people or organisations;
- overload, probe, scrape at high volume or try to break into the site, or get around its limits;
- sell or re-publish the catalogue as a competing icon collection, or claim that you made icons you did not make.
Downloading icons for your own projects, and reasonable use of the developer API within its published limits, are welcome.
Our rights
The Drawico name and logo, the site's design, the editors and the texts written for the site belong to Drawico. Open-source software we use keeps its own licence (see the licence page). These terms do not give you any right to use the Drawico name or logo except to say where your icons came from.
No warranty and limits of liability
Drawico is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data from using the site. Keep your own copies of important work by exporting a .drawico file. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of its mandatory consumer laws. We will try to solve any disagreement with you directly first.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for important changes we tell account holders by email. Questions are welcome through the report form.
