Cookie policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser. Drawico uses as few as possible, and none for advertising.
What we use
These are needed for the site to work, so they do not ask for consent:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| dw_session | Cookie, only if you log in | Keeps you logged in | 30 days, or until you log out |
| Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm) | Cookie, set by Cloudflare | Tells people from bots and protects the site from attacks | Up to 30 minutes |
| drawico.theme | Browser storage | Remembers light or dark mode | Until you clear it |
| drawico.collection.v1 | Browser storage | Your icon collection | Until you clear it |
| drawico.logo.v1, drawico.diagram.v1 | Browser storage | Autosave of the logo and diagram you are working on | Until you clear it |
| drawico.logo.design, drawico.diagram.design | Browser storage | Which saved project each editor has open (accounts only) | Until you clear it |
| drawico.style.v1 | Browser storage | Your last icon colour, size and stroke settings | Until you clear it |
| drawico.saveTip.v1 | Browser storage | Remembers that you closed the saving tip | Until you clear it |
| drawico.consent | Browser storage | Remembers your analytics choice | Until you clear it |
Browser storage stays on your device: we cannot read it from our servers, and it is not sent to us unless you save a design to your account.
Statistics
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. If we switch on Google Analytics, it sets cookies (such as _ga) and runs only after you agree on the banner. It never runs in the logo maker or diagram maker.
Your choice
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie logs you out; clearing browser storage removes autosaved work that you have not saved to a file or to your account.
