Copyright and takedown
Last updated: 11 October 2026
We respect the work of icon designers and the rights of brand owners. Every set on Drawico is checked for an open licence before it is published, and member sets are reviewed by hand. If something still slipped through, tell us and we will act quickly.
How to report
Use the report form, or contact us through the report form. Please include:
- the address of each icon, set or page you are reporting;
- the work or trademark you own, and where we can see it;
- your name and a way to reach you;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.
Every icon page also has a "Report a problem" link that fills in the address for you.
What we do
We look at every notice, normally within two working days. If it is valid we hide the icon or set at once; it then disappears from every page, file, search result and the API. We tell the member who shared the set, if there is one. Repeated infringement leads to the account being closed.
If your icons were removed
If you shared icons that were removed and you believe this was a mistake, contact us with the address of the set and the reason: for example, that you drew the icons yourself or have a licence. If the person who reported it does not take further steps, we may restore the icons.
Brand logos and trademarks
Icons that show company logos are not published at this time. Where an icon resembles a trademark, the trademark stays with its owner and the icon does not suggest any link to them. Owners can ask for removal in the same way as above.
Abuse of this process
Please report only content you have a real claim to. Knowingly false notices can make you liable for the harm they cause.
